Projects to Brag About...

SCG recently participated in a wastewater project serving the airport facilities located at Grand Canyon West. The airport has been upgraded to serve the ever-increasing number of visitors to the Grand Canyon Skywalk. The Skywalk is a glass-bottom architectural marvel that extends out over the Grand Canyon. The wastewater system includes the AdvanTex Treatment System manufactured by Orenco Systems, Inc.; large fiberglass wastewater tanks manufactured by Xerxes Corporation; and a Geoflow drip dispersal system.

Currently under construction is Spaceport America. In addition to sending rockets with satellites into orbit, the facility is being built to send spaceships, with commercial customers, into outer space and back. The wastewater system has been highlighted as an Orenco Case Study.

Recent System Start-ups

After a busy 2009 summer, we recently started-up new AdvanTex Treatment Systems at Jemez Red Rock Visitor Center, Pueblo Encantado, Eldorado Elementary, Hoehne School, and Ute Trail Ranch.

In February 2009 we started-up the treatment system for the Town of Hartville in Hartville, WY. This is an excellent model of a decentralized wastewater treatment system serving a small town.

The beautiful five-star resort Rancho Encantado has a new AdvanTex Treatment System. The system is followed by a new anoxic upflow filter, designed by Integrated Water Services for denitrification.
